During this week long residency hosted by Valencia Print Workshop, Amber explored monotype printing, and presented an exhibition for local people. The series entitled 'Find me with the palm trees' explores the familiarity of trees when travelling to new places. Reflecting on their time travelling in Thailand and Sri Lanka, as well as Valencia, Amber identified the palm tree as a symbol of consistency across these locations. Having been working with the theme of home for the past year, this residency was a chance to focus on learning new techniques through a repetitive motif. This series will also be exhibited at 'Making Home', Amber's Solo Show at The Ottowin Shop this March.
