Amber's painting blends a penchant for texture and expressive brushwork, often exploring natural subject matter to create intuitive dreamscapes. They have always been very oriented by colour, these vibrant tones have recently become more muted as they have transitioned towards using predominantly natural materials in their work. Their knowledge of colour theory means they continue to achieve interesting contrast and colour play even in this new palette.
